Scott and I went back today to see the hitching rail.  We did not get to see it after Don was done welding it on our workday. It really looks good. It needs painted yet and Nick is going to get stone and mulch to put in for footing. We think we need to put a pipe in along the road on the trail to get back to it. There was a pretty good stream flowing there today and it will get dug up pretty quick as wet as it is. We would also like to put a log-in book there for people to sign in, just to see who all might be using it.

While we were there we also checked out the handicapped trail for damage from the earlier hurricanes that brought us so much rain. It really held up pretty well. I will check with Nick about the availability of stone and try to set up a work day before winter to repair it. It won't take much.

Here are some pictures of one of our next projects: the bridge.

There is also a picture of the Troutman Trail and the concrete base Andy has put in already for a Kiosh explaining about the trail and the area.
